Nomie 6.0 - Work in Progress
Nomie 6 is one of the longest development releases in Nomie's history. This version, focuses on unifying separate features, improving the desktop version experience, and giving more flexibility on how your data should be visualized.
What's new
Back in Time
One of the most requested features over the last 6 years is for the Tracker board to able to go back to a specific date - for tracking, and visualizing what you did. Done and dusted!
Goals
Goals have made a comeback after being resurrected from the rare Nomie 3. Goals let you describe what you want to accomplish, such as drink 120 oz of water, as well as what you don't want to do, such as drink no more than 3 cups of coffee.
Only Day goals are available right now, but week and month goals should be available soon.
Trackers, People, Context - oh my
Unlike Nomie 5 where you had trackers and people as seperate, Nomie 6 brings them together like peas and carrots! They shall be called the Trackables.
Streaks
Tapping a trackers ••• button launches you into Nomie's new Streak component, allowing you to quickly swipe and see happened for the last 30 days. Tapping on a date lets you quickly track on that day.
Write a note from any tab
You never know when inspiration strikes, now the note composer
Around this Time
Around This Time, is a a brand new view of your Nomie data to quickly see what happened around a give day, week or month.
Awards
Everyone enjoys receiving an award now and then, right? For those that continue to use Nomie will be gifted a variety of little awards.
Chart Customizations
All Charts in Nomie 6 can now be customized between Line and Bar, start with zero or not.
New CSV Export formats
Journal based - a row for each note. Time base - date, and columns for each tracker selected.

Full data access
Nomie 6 offers 3 different ways to get your data. As an Backup file (json), CSV, and browseable directly within Nomie.
Note widget
The Note widget now shows multiple notes for your selected time period. I personally have found this super helpful for keeping track of bugs, and when I'm interacting with people.
Storage options
Local / on Device only
Your data will only be stored on your device.
CouchDB
Connect Nomie to your own CouchDB instance to sync across multiple devices.
Nomie Cloud Storage
Nomie's paid end-to-end encrypted storage engine for Nomie.
